However...I love seeing biofuels being implemented. However, I wonder if that returns us back to the 'food vs fuel' discussion? In other words, if one projects into the future that all planes/cars/etc are using biofuels, there will be a greater strain on arable lands to sustain all of it. As usual, we can only project so far into the future so we'll just have to 'wait and see.'

These are great articles, accessible by the general public - always thankful to see these.dezert1https://www.blogger.com/profile/01201701558271990438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566036031670722613.post-49006318015692592262012-03-09T18:21:11.970-08:002012-03-09T18:21:11.970-08:00These types of reports aren't very accessible ...These types of reports aren't very accessible for most people. That is why I created this site. That being said, I agree that airports with only a few carriers increase prices - I've been victim to this many times.

It doesn't surprise me that low-cost carriers keep fares down. Competition is a good thing, no matter what the market.dezert1https://www.blogger.com/profile/01201701558271990438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566036031670722613.post-59109133074796659022012-03-09T18:18:29.332-08:002012-03-09T18:18:29.332-08:00Zero emissions in 50 years? It will be interesting to see how it will compare to a report from 2011.

http://www.econ.ucla.edu/people/papers/Snider/Snider507.pdf

This report was done in 2011 by 2 college students. They talk about the governmental requirements and mandates. Also, how the half of the decline in fares is driven by the entry of low-cost carriers into new markets.tierzabrownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10259141419409322346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566036031670722613.post-81507126901623493262012-03-07T20:57:41.287-08:002012-03-07T20:57:41.287-08:00Hey Patrick,
